New wines from Clot de L'origine and Maison Plantevin have arrived!

We are excited to announce the new winemakers that we have added to our Nomadic Distribution book.

Marc Barriot from Clot de l'Origine - He learned to make wine in Beaujolais, then in Bandol before settling down in Roussillon, Maury, in a dream cellar with coveted vines. Some are 50 - 70 year old vines of Grenache noir, carignan and macabeu. ECO Certified since 2004 he farms biodynamic with a near absence of sulfur.

Right now we have his 2011 Soif de Plaisir (Thirst of Pleasure) made up of Grenache, Carignan and Syrah. Just got this new vintage in! Also his 2010 Les Quilles Libres. Primarily Carignan then Syrah and a touch of grenache. As well as his Maury wine made up of Grenache Noir and Carignan. We'll bring back his whites with fresh vintages in March/April.

then...

Laurent Plantevin from Maison Plantevin - Laurent comes from a family of vine growers that goes back 6 generations. In 2007, his first vinification was started in the corner of his fathers shed. He borrowed one hectar of his father's grapes and vinified one tank of red wine. In 2009 he finally established his own Estate. Since Laurent has took charge of his vineyard, he has practiced an organic agriculture method. By 2010, all the his vineyards, 16ha in total, have been converted to organic farming and controlled under Eco Cert.

Right now we have his 2011 Cotes du Rhone, his 2012 Cotes du Rhone Seguret, 2012 Cotes du Rhone Sablet and 2012 Cotes du Rhone Villages Plan de Dieu. We'll bring his whites and some rose with fresh vintages in March/April as well.

Looking forward to taking these out on the town for tasting! Sante!
