Practicing: Organics

Grapes: 75% Zinfandel, 15% Carignan, 4% Mataro, 1% Petite Sirah

Region: Antioch, Northern California

Vinification: The grapes destemmed and pressed. Fermentation occurs spontaneously with native yeast. The skins are punched down into the juice twice daily for the 21 days it remains in contact with the skins. The wine spends 12 months on the lees and is aged for 24 months before bottling.

Sulfites: low addition at bottling
