AMPLIFY Four on the Flor Rosé 2020 Santa Barbara County, CA (rosé)

Vinification: After four vintages of using 100% counoise to make this rose, Cam and Mar pivoted to sangiovese for this release, and not only do they think it's the best rose they've ever made, it is among their favorite wines period. The combination of elevated alcohol and higher acidity in sangiovese led to the best formation of flor yet. The final product falls somewhere between a deep rose and a light red. The wine is spontaneously fermented using indigenous yeast, and allowed to complete malolactic fermentation. It is then aged completely under flor in neutral oak for 7 months. Unfined/Unfiltered.
Sulfites: 15 ppm SO2 at bottling
*Please note: Because the production was so limited this vintage, the winemakers decided to bottle in a 500mL bottle instead of 750mL.
