Grapes: 35% Nebbiolo, 22% Syrah, 22% Zinfandel, 21% Petite Sirah
Region: San Diego, Southern California
Vinification: Grapes harvested and destemmed between 8/27 and 9/8 of 2020. Syrah and Petite Sirah werecrushed; Nebbiolo and Zinfandel were not. All spontaneous fermentations. Grapes were pressedon a long, slow cycle in separate lots between 5 and 7 days after harvest. Portions of free run andtaille of press cuts blended. Aged in neutral vessels. Months after fermentations complete, wineracked, chilled, and sulfited in March, 2021. Bottled April 11, 2021.
Sulfites: No SO2 added.
Production: 65 cases
Tasting Notes: Tart plums, Bing cherry, blueberry jam, and roses. High acidity, medium body, medium tannins.
